Author: Reverend Jim Reimann
was an ordained minister, Bible teacher, editor and author. In his life he led 2 to 3 guided tours and pilgrimages annually, including 25 to Israel, to Jordan, Egypt, Greece, Italy and Turkey. On his tours, he saw children’s books based on the Old Testament but not the New Testament so he saw a need for these books and began writing these authentic, historically-accurate Gospel stories for children.
Reverend Jim Reimann wrote 10 stories in this series before he passed away on December 18, 2013.
This is the story of Jesus’ arrest, crucifixion, death and resurrection. It was written specifically for children, it also tells of His promise to return and bring us to live in a place He is preparing for those who trust in Him...
The story of Jesus’ second recorded miracle. While in Cana, a royal official’s son was sick, and he asked Jesus to heal his son. Upon returning home to Capernaum, the man’s servants told him his son was well, just as Jesus said he would be.
This is the story of Nicodemus, a Jewish leader who comes to Jesus at night and wants to know how to enter the kingdom of God. Jesus shares that one must be “born again,” and anyone who trusts in Jesus can have eternal life. This story is based on John 3:1-16, teaching children that trusting in Jesus brings eternal life.
Two brothers discovered the ancient boat known as “The Jesus Boat” on the muddy shores of the Sea of Galilee in 1986. Bible story portion is based on Mark 4:35-41. By calming the storm, thus performing a miracle, Jesus fulfilled Old Testament prophecy and declared himself to be the promised Messiah. This book comes also as an e-book in Amazon and it is translated into German and Portuguese.
This is the story of Mount Megiddo, told by Arieh, the lion. Canaanites fought there but couldn’t beat the Egyptian kings who freed the Israelite nation all the way to the Galilee. Megiddo (known by the Greeks as Armageddon – the final battle) flourished during the reign of the Jewish kings and many important battles were fought there and will be fought until Messiah will arrive.
Caesarea- A Glimpse at the Past of a Glorious City:
The story of the town that was built by Herod the Great about 25-13 BCE as the port city Caesarea Maritima and served as an administrative center of Judaea Province of the Roman Empire, and later the capital of the Byzantine Palaestina Prima province during the classic period. After many wars and conquests, the Jewish town of Caesarea was established near the ruins of the old city, which were made into the national park of Caesarea Maritima.
