Towards the Season of Our Rejoicing by Petra van der Zande
This is the new edition of A Christian Guide to the Festival of Sukkot.
Leviticus 23:40-44 "And you shall take for yourselves on the first day the fruit of beautiful trees, branches of palm trees, the boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days. You shall celebrate it in the seventh month. You shall dwell in booths for seven days."
Most people associate Sukkot only with the sukkah. But this holiday is much, much more.
Towards the Season of Our Rejoicing, will give you a deeper appreciation for the Biblical Holidays.
It explains the ritual of the Four Species - Lulav (date palm), Hadas (Myrtle), Aravah (Willow) and Etrog (Citron), their meaning and relevant Bible verses.
